Bridalveil Valley - A literate family based wolf pack.
The cold nip of a long night slowly draws to a close, while a dark figure moves through the shadows, like an invisible force. Many creatures sleep, while a few stir in the now beginnings of a sunrise. A fiery light slowly starts to creep across the horizon sending a glow across the landscape. The silhouette of the wolf casted a long shadow, while up in the skies a few birds let out a waking call and an alert.
All around, most of the scene was tranquil and almost silent, when a snap of a twig caused the female to freeze in her steps, one paw hovering mid-air while she listened intently to her surroundings, knowing that for sure, she was now not alone.
The breeze blew gently carrying a wave of scents that soon enveloped the female. With a deep inhalation, she then relaxed, recognising the scent, knowing that she was not in danger. Turing, the female peered into the darkness while the shadowy silhouette of another wolf came forth with glowing eyes soft and relaxed. Verona greeted the fellow wolf with a warm nuzzle, then turned and carried on the way they she was going initially.
The two wolves walked in silence while the rest of the wildlife slowly started to wake. Warm beams of the rising sun casted a glow across the pelts of the canines, as they both shot each other a glance. Their intentions were one, they both knew what they were out to do.
Ahead of the two, the scene lightened and brightened up, allowing the wolves to see a marvellous sight. Verona halted, the fellow wolf paused also and turned to look at the female with a slight question on his face. Her eyes widened and a small smile lit up her face, she had found their new home.
Quickly, the female moved forwards and went to explore the land. She inspected it thoroughly making sure that the territory was not already claimed, while doing this she remained tensed and alert to her surroundings. With a small yip to the other wolf, she warns them to be on alert while she begins to mark the lands as their own territory.
Knowing this is a dangerous time for them both with the possibility of rival wolf packs surrounding them, the male wolf threw his head back and allowed a long, loud warning howl tear though the morning skies.
The now proud owners of the land choose that it is time to start a pack of their own, and they know just how to do it.
